Policy by Device Group
The Device Groups feature supports adding Policies along with Devices to a Group.

Field/Icon | Description |
---|---|
Device Count | The number of devices from this policy in this group. |
Device Model | The model policy of the device. Note: The device name is a link to the Model Policy Details page. |
Settings Count | The settings that have been provisioned from this group. |
Add Policies to a Device Group
Note: You must change and save at least one setting to create a policy.
- Go to Manage > Device Groups.
- Select a Device Group from the list to open.
- Select Policies from the side tab.
Note: You can also get to this window from Manage > Policies > Device Group. - Select Add.
- Search or select a Model Policy from the list.
- Select Continue.
- On the Settings page change a setting (this is required to create a policy) to be modified.
- Select Apply.
- The policy is added to the Group.
Remove Policies from a Device Group
Note: You cannot delete a policy, if there are any devices in this Policy.
- Go to Manage > Device Groups.
- Select a Device Group from the list to open.
- Select Policies from the side tab.
Note: You can also get to this window from Manage > Policies > Device Group. - Select the check box of the Policy to remove from the Group.
- Select Delete.
- Select Confirm to confirm the removal of the Policy from the Group.
- The Policy is removed from the Group.
