📄️ Lens Relay Overview
Poly Lens Relay is simply a device that runs within a customer network that facilitates a simplified cloud-based communication path with a device or group of devices. A relay is deployed and configured to be a configuration/provisioning proxy for supported Poly endpoints. Explicitly configuring the provisioning URL on each device or leveraging a combination of DNS and DHCP option 66, a relay instance is inserted into the path of the well-established series of endpoint-requests towards cloud-based interactions. A relay device provides a local software cache from which endpoints will pull their firmware images, as well as a communication funnel-point for all ground-to-cloud interactions including configuration details, etc.

📄️ Lens Relay Integration
Each relay has a distinct Poly Lens Device ID (serial number). After installing the relay image, this deviceId must be entered into the Poly Lens Account claiming tenant in order to generate a Poly Lens Access Key and, ultimately, register the relay.
📄️ Lens Relay Certificate Installation
Note: The Poly Lens Relay does not have a feature to create a certificate signing request (CSR). The Relay certificate installation page will only accept a .pfx encoded certificate file.
