Headset Supported Softphones

Poly partners with the industry’s leading softphone providers to ensure integration and compatibility with our Unified Communication (UC) products.  Poly products optimized for UC offer remote call control (RCC) from the headset including – call answer/end, mute, volume control, and in certain products and softphones, flashing capabilities – right from the headset, with the softphones listed below.

Use Plantronics Hub to provide RCC, as required, and enhance user experience with mute and battery status, easily visible on the taskbar.

Plantronics Hub also works in conjunction with Plantronics Manager Pro to give your IT staff an easy-to-use tool to configure and manage devices across the enterprise.  Additional softphone insights are available for Poly developed integrations in certain Plantronics Manager Pro reports, for a full list of these softphone dependent reports see here.

If your softphone or conferencing platform is not listed below your Poly headset will still be compatible as an audio device, but RCC will not work.  The Plantronics Manager Pro softphone dependent reports are not supported.

Integration Methods

Poly developed integrations

Plantronics developed integrations are included in Plantronics Hub and provide call status information and other reporting in Plantronics Manager Pro.  For full details on the Plantronics Manager Pro reports that are softphone dependent see here.  Requires Plantronics Hub to be installed. Call data from partner developed softphone integrations will not be validated by Poly.  Plantronics does not warrant the availability or reliability of softphone data integrated by partners.

Partner Developed Integrations          

1 - Partner developed integration using one of the recommended Plantronics Hub SDK integration types (either COM or REST).  Requires Plantronics Hub to be installed.  The softphone will appear in Plantronics Hub as SDK enabled. 

                1a - Partner developed integration using recommended Plantronics Hub SDK COM method. Requires Plantronics Hub to be installed.  The softphone will appear in Plantronics Hub as SDK enabled. 

                1b - Partner developed integration using recommended Plantronics Hub SDK REST API method. Requires Plantronics Hub to be installed.  The softphone will appear in Plantronics Hub as SDK enabled.  These integration benefits from the ability to provide RCC support across multiple supported softphones.

- Partner developed integration using native library, does not require Plantronics Hub to be installed.  Plantronics Manager Pro requires Plantronics Hub to be installed,. Plantronics Manager Pro requires Plantronics Hub, therefore no data from a native library softphone partner integration will be provided for softphone dependent reports in Plantronics Manager Pro.
