Social Content Terms and Conditions
FAQs
How do I share my photos?
It’s super easy. Simply add relevant hashtags to help us find your favorite images. Examples include: #plantronics, #plt, #plantronicsgaming, #pltgaming, #rig and #backbeatfit. Basically, you can use any popular hashtags you see being used by our social followers and in any of our online content. That’s how we’ll find you!
How do you select the photos you feature?
Photos are selected based on alignment with marketing campaigns. For examples, check out @plantronics and @plantronicsgaming on Instagram and see what our fans are sharing. That should steer you in the right direction. When possible, we’ll give you a shout-out using your handle, but in some cases—such as on web-based product pages—we may use terms like “fan content” or “social follower content” when referencing your images. Photo credit by name is not guaranteed—but you’ll know it’s yours—and so will we!
What will increase my chances of being featured on Plantronics.com?
We offer a wide range of consumer and enterprise products, so we like to feature inspiring fitness posts, gaming shots and photos of professionals in their daily routines. Again, check out @plantronics and @plantronicsgaming on Instagram and you’ll get the idea!
Terms and Conditions (the legal stuff):
Plantronics may use the images and videos in perpetuity on our public website and in other relevant marketing platforms, including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, as well as in display and email marketing. Photo credit is not guaranteed. We may even use them internally at our offices plastered on massive big screens. You’re famous!
Images, videos, content and/or posts will not be used or will be deleted if they contain:
- violent, obscene, profane, hateful, derogatory, illegal or racist comments, content, links or images or videos that incite such comments or behavior;
- offensive, inaccurate, false, misleading or deceptive comments or content;
- comments that threaten or defame any person or organization;
- repetitive posts duplicated by single or multiple users;
- material which infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights; or
- any other inappropriate content or comments as solely determined by Plantronics.
By responding to our permission request using the hashtag #goforit, you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to these terms and conditions and that you are the original owner of the image or video we are requesting permission to use. You are also granting Plantronics a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, non-revocable, perpetual license to use, modify, delete from, add too, publicly display and/or reproduce the images and videos.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing your stuff!
